Dragoman are an overlanding expedition tour operator that provide overland adventures through Asia, the Americas and Africa. They have a proud history, standing at the forefront of the overlanding industry since the company’s formation in 1981. Over the years they have grown steadily in size to a current fleet of 26 overland trucks and 1 converted overland bus, but are still small enough to ensure that each Dragoman traveller has a unique, and life-changing experience.

Responsible travel is a guiding principle that underpins everything at Dragoman. Their key aim is to maximise the positive benefits tourism can deliver and also minimise the impact of any potentially damaging social, cultural or environmental consequences. By encouraging their clients to buy a Water-to-Go bottle (using the discount code below), they authenticate these principles as they hope to reduce plastic waste and do their bit for the environment.

Kakum National Park is a protected area of dense rainforest in southern Ghana, just inland of Cape Coast. The forest contains some very rare wildlife such as pygmy elephants, forest buffalo and an incredible array of birdlife, which we may be lucky enough to spot on a night walk through the winding maze of paths that criss-cross through the trees. We will also take an early morning walk along the canopy walkways that are set up amongst the tops of the trees, which offer a unique and unobtrusive way for travellers to experience the forest.
