Water-to-Go is delighted to be launching its most sustainable bottle yet, the Sugarcane 55 cl bottle. With their recyclable filters, all Water-to- Go bottles have for over a decade reduced the number of single-use plastic water bottles and mitigated the pollution they create. This first sugarcane bottle creates the platform for us to move away from fossil fuel products to new, innovative plant-based plastics.

The Sugarcane 55cl bottle includes a unique 3-in-1 filter with a click lid with a protective, sealable cover for the integral drinking spout.

Our Filter duration is based on usage, not time. So the 200-litre filter capacity would last for 100 days based on consuming 2 litres of water per day or 200 days at 1 litre per day and so on.

Filter Usage Tips

Without activating the filter, in the original packaging, our filters will have a ‘shelf life’ of three years. The nanotechnology in our filters is activated by contact with water, therefore before use, it is important to keep it in a dry place

In the interests of customer safety: we recommend that activated and part-used filters which are then NOT used again for over 12 months are best replaced with a new filter.

About Sugarcane products

We all need to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and this new process does just that! Sugarcane is grown to produce sugar, and normally the fibrous residue is treated as waste. We take that waste and allow it to ferment, which creates green eco-friendly ethanol. We then reuse the fibrous material, dry and compact it, and create biofuel bricks. Using these bricks to fuel two further processes, a plant-based plastic is created. This new material is lightweight, durable and dishwasher safe, and is made from plants not fossil fuels.
