“As the weather has now become more conducive to go for enjoyable walks without being soaked or covered in mud, I have been out for a few and used the bottle holder. As I generally walk solo, I’ve not been able to get any photos. However here are some from Easter Sunday when I wasn’t alone.
As you can see from the photos, I was wearing a waterproof and the long strap was tucked under the hood. On other walks I have done when I have not needed waterproof’s, I found that the carrying strap was on my neck and not comfortable. Through trial and experimentation, I have now clipped it to the rucsac shoulder strap with a couple of small karabiners. It sits comfortably at the waist and doesn’t impact normal arm movement, with or without walking poles. Photos attached are taken at home after a couple of tests runs and changes. It’s a great bit of kit and now means that I am not carrying an empty Water-to-Go purely to fill up a water bladder.”
