I recently had the opportunity to field test the Water-to-Go Active water filtration system. I was impressed with how easy it was to use and how well it worked. I can see this will be a convenient filtration system for my overnight hikes and is also really useful for day hikes.
Just last weekend I took it with me on a day hike into the Lerderderg State Park (Vic). I know there was a reliable water source half way into the hike (AKA the Lerderderg River), so I took the Water-to-Go Active with me instead of my hydration bladder. I have to say, it was so convenient to be able to carry a lighter, more compact hydration system (750ml) compared to my 2 or 3 litre bladder and simply fill up at the river without concern of contamination.
