As keen bird spotters, in pursuit of our 1000 bird goal, we travelled for four weeks around Ecuador & given our ages, needed to feel safe about drinking the local water. Our Water to Go bottles gave us the reassurance that we could stay fit & well whilst taking on board the necessary liquid intake required for the higher altitudes & hot temperatures. The bottles on the E is the centre of the world monument in Quito. One in the northern hemisphere & the other in the southern. David is drinking on one of the shifting sand islands on the Napo River, an Amazon tributary & that’s him in a very rare moment, relaxing at Cabanas San Isidro, in the east of the country.
