Global Convoy

Max, Becca, and Joel have been organising fun and chaos-filled road trips for their friends and strangers for years, each more adventurous than the last (they once drove a £75 car around the entire world through 46 countries!) and, most recently, they sourced an old US Bluebird School bus for their biggest adventure to date.

For almost a decade, they have been running an online travel community (Global Convoy) that encourages strangers worldwide to collaborate, explore off the beaten path and have life-changing adventures together.

After watching a 75-year-old documentary about the first vehicle to try and attempt driving the entire length of the Americas, they were inspired to not only attempt the challenge themselves but to document their experiences and compare and contrast them with what travel in these areas must have been like 75 years ago.

This overland challenge required all individuals involved to work together to face fears, build their resilience and overcome obstacles as a team.

After 234 days, 16 countries, and 1 shipping, they completed the drive from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Ushuaia, Argentina.
